The Legal Intelligence Platform, referred to publicly as ”Robin”, is a redesigned, simplified, and rebranded version of the previous Robin platform. It combines 6+ years of user feedback with the latest technology breakthroughs to offer an all-in-one AI tool for understanding documents and completing legal workflows.
The platform is designed to bring together everything a lawyer needs to store, manage, search, and act on legal documents, all in one place. From storing and searching documents to chatting with Robin, running tailored analyses using tables, and tracking legal workflows in dedicated workspaces, each feature is built to support how lawyers actually work.
Below is a breakdown of the key features you'll hear about often, and may work on, depending on your role:
Store and search documents: The legal library is where all of your documents and assets are stored. With the legal library, all of your documents are stored in one place, with their type (e.g. LPA) and Status (e.g. Executed) clearly displayed.
Over time, we expect the legal library to grow more powerful, as it becomes a repository not only for documents, but for other legal assets that Robin could reference to carry out legal workflows such as templates, precedents, obligations, and legal research databases.
Research: Chat with Robin about your documents using our cleaner, simplified chat interface. Turn on research mode to have Robin search the web for publicly available information from trusted legal sources before giving an answer.
Document Memory: Using Robin’s Document Memory technology, you can chat with Robin across all your documents. Robin automatically understands which documents to reference when answering questions and provides clickable citations for each answer it gives.
Multi-document conversations: Select a set of documents from your legal library to chat with using Robin’s Document Memory technology. This allows Robin to focus solely on the documents you choose, enabling more tailored and relevant insights.
Build tables: Build tables using prompt sets built by Robin to extract key insights across your documents using Robin’s curated list of pre-built prompt sets.
Run tables from document search results: Search your documents, select the documents you want to include in your table, and then select from one of Robin’s pre-built prompt sets to run a table across your selected documents.
The Legal Intelligence Platform introduces Workspaces, a feature that allows users to easily track and access recent legal projects started within Robin.
The (Word) Add-in will continue to support Robin’s existing suite of powerful AI-driven features, but with a fresh look.
