Cross-departmental collaboration
- 📲 Product: In the Legal team we use the Review Word add-in every day, and we give detailed feedback regularly to the Product & Engineering team. The Legal team are expected to give daily feedback on any new features implemented within the product. This gives the Legal team a chance to become more deeply involved with the products, by becoming part of proof of concept testing, alpha testing initiatives and pre-feature interviews.
- 🤝 Hiring: Members of the Legal team are directly involved in hiring new members of the Robin team, both nationally and internationally. This involves interviewing, working with our talent acquisition specialists and helping to review and revise our interview process to ensure optimal practices.
- 💰 Sales support: The Legal team is encouraged to get involved in supporting the Sales team at Robin AI, including joining sales discovery calls, drafting playbooks for new prospective customers, interacting with customers who have queries about the service, and joining regular check-ins with prospects during the trial phase.
- 📊 Customer Success support: The Legal team is involved in taking on a number of accounts to lead on from a legal relationship support function. This includes joining quarterly reviews with each customer, completing playbook reviews with customers, drafting new playbooks to expand the service, explaining other aspects of the service etc.
- 💡 Learning & Development: The LS and SLS roles within the Legal team take a proactive approach to training the junior members of our team. This involves frequently reviewing work and giving constructive feedback, and there are opportunities to deliver training sessions on specialised topics. LS and SLS within the Legal team also have the opportunity to get involved in our JLS ‘Bootcamp’ training programme.
- 💻 Management: Within the Legal team, due to the rapidly expanding team, there are many opportunities for senior members to manage junior members of the team.
- 📈 Marketing: There is also the opportunity for members of the Legal team to assist the marketing team, specifically in helping write articles for our Blog.
- 🌐 General: The Legal team consistently review processes and is always working on strategic ways to implement new technology to increase the efficiency of the team. As a start-up, we are always open to new ideas for how to do things, so this is a great way to get involved and express creative ideas to the team!
